Ipley Manor is a farm in the heart of the New Forest, offering well located, professionally-run and friendly stables at which to base your horse.
The farm provides a unique location from which to enjoy on horseback the largest area of unspoilt forest in the south of England whilst being only 2 hours by rail from the heart of London
The stables aim to provide a high standard of professional care for your horse and a level of service which leaves you free to enjoy your horse to ride as you wish. (We have clients with a wide range of interests including dressage, jumping, eventing, driving and hacking)
STABLING
Indoor stabling is available with close attention paid to your horse's health and wellbeing. Good quality haylage is provided from the farm's own pasture. If necessary, veterinary assistance can he summoned from close-by. Shoeing, clipping and all other services can he arranged to your requirements.
TURNOUT
The 200 acre farm provides extensive paddocks for turning out horses. Each horse will be turned out daily for a period of time unless for some reason veterinary backed reason this cannot be done.
SCHOOLING
An outdoor manege is available for schooling yourself and your horse for advancement in dressage, showjumping or just enjoyment. Teaching can he provided at all grades.
EXERCISE
The staff can exercise to a preferred routine, to achieve and maintain a high standard of fitness.
RIDING OUT
The Manor is located on an island site in the heart of the New Forest; the only really large area of unfenced parkland in the south of England. You can ride your horse unhindered through the 500 square miles of woodland, moorland and pasture which comprise the Forest.
HUNTING
If you want to hunt, the New Forest has a mounted pack of hounds, the Foxhounds, hunting twice a week in season. Several of the meets are within hacking distance across the Forest.
COMPETITION
Ipley Manor is well connected to the trunk roads and motorways of southern England, giving access to many competitions in dressage, showjumping, horse trials, hunter trials, team chase, etc., at all levels of achievement.
